Pop in and enjoy a delicious menu of seasonal, locally sourced dishes, homemade cakes, and a wide range of hot and cold drinks. We cater to all tastes with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.

Looking for something on the go? A selection of takeaway options is available for busy visitors who might be short on time.  

Our cafe is a welcoming hub for the community, with indoor seating for up to 70 guests and additional outdoor seating on fine days. Well-behaved dogs on leads are always welcome to rest their paws!

Heather Isle Coffee Company

Kathanna and Jonathan roast their small-batch coffee in Point, on the Isle of Lewis, carefully overseeing every step of the process – from selecting the beans right through to the final cup.

Our cafe is currently serving West Side, The Stones – a coffee inspired by the stories held within the ancient stone monuments of the Isle of Lewis.

The coffee itself, African Moon, is grown by smallholder farmers in Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains using traditional farming practices. It is exported by a small enterprise that reinvests exports proceeds back into the farmers and their communities, helping to improve social conditions and support more sustainable practices.

Bizzi Bags for busy little bees!

Treat your little explorers to a Bizzi Bag – a tasty lunch and fun activity all rolled into one!

Each Bizzi Bag includes a ham or cheese roll, crisps, an apple, juice and a slice of shortbread for a little sweet treat.

Turn the bag over and discover a word search and puzzles, complete with a crayon to keep curious minds busy.

Because every little explorer needs a bit of energy before or after discovering the stone giants of Calanais!

We love to see our youngest visitors enjoying everything the Visitor Centre has to offer!
