We’re delighted to be serving Heather Isle Coffee Company in our cafe, with bags also available to take home from our gift shop.
Kathanna and Jonathan roast their small-batch coffee in Point, on the Isle of Lewis, carefully overseeing every step of the process – from selecting the beans right through to the final cup.
Quality, consistency, honest sourcing and responsible practices are at the heart of what they do.
Our cafe is currently serving West Side, The Stones – a coffee inspired by the stories held within the ancient stone monuments of the Isle of Lewis.
The coffee itself, African Moon, is grown by smallholder farmers in Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains using traditional farming practices. It is exported by a small enterprise that reinvests exports proceeds back into the farmers and their communities, helping to improve social conditions and support more sustainable practices.
Heather Isle Coffee have created a darker roast for this particular coffee, making it wonderfully suited to espresso-based drinks – and it’s the coffee we’re proud to serve in our cafe.
