Our centre is closed for redevelopment, reopening in July 2026. There are no facilities - no coach parking, no toilets, limited car parking.

Whether you’re looking to develop your career, share your knowledge, or support our work, there are many was to get involved.  Get in touch and tell us how you would like to work with us.  

You might like to:  

  • Build your career in heritage or hospitality and gain valuable, hands-on experience 
  • Volunteer in our exhibition space and share your knowledge of Calanais with visitors from around the world 
  • Contribute to the development of our collections and help us care for and interpret our heritage 
  • Support our heritage events and community programmes 
  • Develop Front of House and customer service skills in a welcoming, visitor-focused environment.
