The Calanais Visitor Centre is currently closed to the public for redevelopment.

The Calanais Visitor Centre is currently closed to the public for redevelopment. However, the Calanais Standing Stones remain accessible during this time. We apologise for the inconvenience, as there will be no facilities or parking available at the centre, and access to the stones from the visitor centre site will not be possible.

Visitors can still reach the stones via the top road, although please note that this route is not suitable for coaches. Thank you for your understanding as we work towards enhancing this important site.
