Weddings, and other celebrations, at Calanais

The Calanais Standing Stones are a magical and unique location for your wedding, celebration or other ceremony – find your special place for your day amongst the 47 stones, formed from 3 billion year old Lewisian Gneiss.

Under an agreement with Historic Environment Scotland we are able to offer the facility to hold weddings and similar events inside the neolithic monument, subject to some conditions aimed at protecting this historic site.

We welcome of all types of ceremonies, which are undertaken by individuals correctly registered to perform such ceremonies. It is the responsibility of the client to liaise with their chosen celebrant regarding the venue for their ceremony.
