The Perfect Spot
for a Bite to Eat

The Visitor Centre Café is the perfect spot to sit back and relax after you’ve explored the ancient and inspiring Calanais Standing Stones. With stunning views over the crystal-clear waters of Loch Roag an Ear and the breath-taking landscape beyond, it’s a magical place to pause and enjoy a true taste of the Isle of Lewis.

If you’re lucky, you might even spot a Golden Eagle riding the thermals above the glorious scenery that surrounds one of Scotland’s best preserved prehistoric monuments.

Serving the Local Community

The Visitor Centre Café is open to our local community and is a wonderful place to pick up anything from a cup of coffee and a slice of home-made cake to a delicious hot meal. By signing up to become a Friends of Calanais card holder we offer a 10% discount on all cafe purchases. Open to island residents only.
